Hall of Fame general manager Bill Polian admitted he was wrong to suggest Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson should switch to wide receiver before the 2018 NFL draft.
Polian told Jarrett Bell of USA Today he viewed Jackson through the wrong lens, and the Ravens brass did a better job of evaluating what the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner could become at the pro level.
"I was wrong, because I used the old, traditional quarterback standard with him, which is clearly why John Harbaugh and Ozzie Newsome were more prescient than I was," he said Tuesday, adding "And Greg [Roman] found a way in how he's developed a system to use those dynamic skills.
