The Bears are doing a lot of things differently this year, so training camp is no different.
According to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com, the Bears will hold joint practices with the Colts this year on Aug. 19 and 20. The two teams play a preseason game in Indianapolis on Aug. 22, so getting to Indiana a few days early won’t be much of a hassle.
More and more teams are going the route of joint practices to add a little intensity, since coaches can’t create it on their own with two-a-days any more.
The Bears haven’t had a joint workout with any team since 2004, when they practiced with the Rams.
