The injury that caused Browns linebacker Barkevious Mingo to miss Wednesday’s practice wasn’t immediately known, but more information has come to light and it looks like there are going to be more missed practices to come.
According to multiple reports, Mingo will have arthroscopic knee surgery on Thursday after tearing his meniscus in a training camp practice. There’s no specific timeline for when he’s going to be back, but it will be multiple weeks and that’s not a good development for the sixth overall pick of the 2013 draft.
Mingo played 15 games last season, but had a shoulder injury that helped limit his productivity and led to offseason surgery that put some limitations on his spring work.
