With Commissioner Roger Goodell’s letter to the NFL Players Association regarding his decision not to step aside from the Tom Brady appeal arguably rubbing the union’s face in the fact that the players have given Goodell the power to preside over such matters, it’s worth noting that a veteran player who was involved in the last round of CBA talks recently did the same thing.
