Pro Bowl running back David Johnson, Arizona's best player this season and the NFL's scrimmage yards and touchdowns leader, exited in the first quarter in Los Angeles on a cart with an apparent left knee injury. Johnson walked off the field slowly and with the assistance of trainers following a short run prior to being transported from the sideline to the locker room on a cart.
One of the biggest reasons for optimism regarding a rebound for the Cardinals in 2017, two years after playing in a conference title game, is the presence of Johnson.
