Arian Foster injures groin, set to miss start of season

The Houston Texans again will be forced to prepare for life without Arian Foster.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday, per a source informed of the situation, that Foster suffered a major groin injury that'll likely necessitate surgery. Foster is set to miss the start of the season, per Rapoport, and almost certainly headed to short-term injured reserve.

ESPN.com first reported Foster's injury, which occured during team's team's first padded practice on Monday night. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle later reported that Foster should be able to return during the season.
