Denver Broncos general manager John Elway has denied reports he made cornerback Aqib Talib available via trade.

"False," Elway said, per ESPN.com. "[Talib's] name was never brought up anywhere."
ESPN's Dianna Russini had previously reported the Broncos were looking to trade their Pro Bowl cornerback.
Talib, 30, has made the Pro Bowl each of the last three seasons. In 2015, he had 45 tackles and three interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns. Pro Football Focus ranked him 30th among qualifying cornerbacks.
