Antonio Cromartie: Tom Brady should not be suspended

You know Tom Brady’s four-game suspension for his alleged role in Deflategate is a bit harsh when members of the New York Jets start defending the New England Patriots quarterback.

During an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” Thursday, Antonio Cromartie criticized NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and said Brady should not be suspended. Cromartie feels a $25,000 fine would have been sufficient.

“Honestly, I don’t think he should be suspended,” the Jets cornerback said, per Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. “Nobody is safe. No matter who you are, Roger will do what he wants to do. It don’t matter what the rules say, he’s gonna make his own rules as he goes.
