On paper, the Jets have a very strong secondary. On the practice field, the team’s No. 2 cornerback is getting regularly beaten by the team’s No. 2 receiver.
Via Kevin Armstrong of the New York Daily News, receiver Eric Decker is having his way with cornerback Antonio Cromartie. Cromartie claims he’s not bothered by that.
“I’m not really worried about anything that’s going on right now,” Cromartie said. “I’m looking forward to when those lights turn on and you go play football from there.”
Cromartie apparently isn’t going all out for whatever it is that training camp has become under the 2011 labor deal, which reduced the number and intensity of preseason practices.
