Antonio Cromartie gets Tom Brady’s back, says fine is sufficient

Of all the problems Roger Goodell has maintaining credibility at the moment, this might be the most damning indictment of the commissioner — even the Jets are on Tom Brady’s side.

Via Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie said today he didn’t think Brady should be suspended for #DeflateGate, and that a $25,000 fine should suffice for the Patriots quarterback.

The comments came during Cromartie’s appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” — which I’m hearing is a clown show starring Stephen A. Smith, but I don’t know.

“Nobody is safe,” Cromartie said.
