Of all the problems Roger Goodell has maintaining credibility at the moment, this might be the most damning indictment of the commissioner — even the Jets are on Tom Brady’s side.
Via Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie said today he didn’t think Brady should be suspended for #DeflateGate, and that a $25,000 fine should suffice for the Patriots quarterback.
The comments came during Cromartie’s appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” — which I’m hearing is a clown show starring Stephen A. Smith, but I don’t know.
“Nobody is safe,” Cromartie said.
