The NFL is going to have to sack more than just Tony Romo if they want everyone out of the fantasy football convention business.
While the league pressured Romo into canceling his event in Las Vegas, another group of players is still going on with their show.
According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, former NFL wide receiver Brandon Stokley said the Fantasy Sports Combine is “100 percent still on” for mid-July. The event is set for the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Resort.
That may be a temporary arrangement, however, since the league prohibits players from taking part in such events held at casinos.
