Andrew Whitworth thinks Bengals need some swagger

The Bengals have made four straight trips to the playoffs, which represents one of the most successful runs in the history of a team that didn’t have a winning season between 1991 and 2005.

Those trips to the postseason haven’t resulted in any victories, which might be why tackle Andrew Whitworth thinks the team needs to borrow some of the attitude from the darker days in franchise history. Former wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh has been at practice on a coaching fellowship and Whitworth said that he’d like to see his teammates show more of the “fire and tenacity” that Houshmandzadeh showed during while carving out a NFL career that started as a seventh-round pick.
