Bengals tackle Andrew Whitworth wasn’t shy about letting the Bengals know that he thought they should pick players at other positions before the draft and he wasn’t any shyer last Monday after they took tackles with their first two picks.
Whitworth complained that his commitment to the Bengals was not being reciprocated by the team as they won’t talk about an extension with a year left on the veteran’s deal. That was followed by a tweet that showed up on his account relaying a conversation with Bengals owner Mike Brown that ended with Whitworth telling Brown that he wouldn’t be playing this year.
