Andrew Quarless Reveals He Missed Start of Camp After Daughter Died at Birth

Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless revealed he missed the beginning of training camp because his daughter died at birth last week.

Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin reported the news. Quarless returned to the field for the first time Saturday after missing sessions on Thursday and Friday.

"Andrew obviously has been gone because of what him and his family have been dealing with," coach Mike McCarthy said, per Michael Cohen of the Journal Sentinel. "From a professional standpoint, you’ve got to make sure that he’s OK, and that’s the priority.
