Tuesday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio featured a visit from the great Al Michaels, who’s starting his 10th season as the play-by-play announcer for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Al reflected on his on-air partnership with the late Frank Gifford; together, they worked 256 games. That’s the same amount of games played in an entire NFL regular season.
Twenty regular seasons have come and gone since the NFL played in Al’s adopted hometown of Los Angeles. And he offered up a preliminary, non-binding prediction on how it will turn out: Rams and Chargers at Hollywood Park in Inglewood.
