Free agent offensive guard Daryn Colledge, a starter in stints with three different teams over nine seasons, is retiring from the NFL, his agent, Jeff Sperbeck, announced on Twitter on Wednesday.
A second-round pick out of Boise State in 2006, the 33-year-old Colledge played his first five seasons with Green Bay before moving on to Arizona (2011-2013) and Miami (2014). Overall, Colledge started 137-of-141 regular season games, including all 13 for the Dolphins last season.
According to Sperbeck, Colledge is set to move to Italy for a year.
