Adrian Wilson spent 12 years playing safety for the Cardinals, making a name for himself in the NFL and earning a special place in the history of the organization.
That special place is a spot in the team’s Ring of Honor and Wilson will join that body this season. The Cardinals announced Monday that Wilson will be honored during halftime of the team’s Week Three home matchup against the 49ers.
Wilson joined the Cardinals as a third-round pick in 2001 and spent a year as a backup before spending the next 11 years as a fixture in the team’s starting defense.
