Adrian Peterson won’t have to worry about scheduling meetings with a probation officer during the NFL season.
According to Mary Lynn Smith of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Peterson had the remainder of his two-year probation terminated after just nine months he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor reckless assault of his 4-year old son.
Peterson’s agent, Rusty Hardin, told the Star Tribune that Peterson had completed a third of probation and it’s terms, allowing him to apply for the early termination. The terms of the sentence also included a $4,000 fine and 80 hours of community service.
