The Minnesota Vikings are one of the surprise teams of the 2015 NFL season at 8-4, but not even that was enough to satisfy star running back Adrian Peterson after Sunday’s 38-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
According to Derek Wetmore of 1500ESPN.com, the former Oklahoma Sooner said the Seahawks were “more aggressive, played more physical and they outcoached us as well.”
It’s hard to argue that Seattle was the more aggressive team, but the thing that jumps out about that quote is Peterson’s questioning of the coaching. His frustration likely stemmed from the fact he only had eight carries for 18 yards, although much of that was dictated by the game after Seattle jumped out to a 21-0 lead by halftime and forced the Vikings to air it out in comeback mode.
