After being a late cut during the preseason, veteran wide receiver Aaron Dobson is reportedly going to be signing with the Detroit Lions.
Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press and NFL Insider Rand Getlin reported Dobson will sign with the Lions. Birkett noted the deal will be official on Wednesday.
Dobson spent the first three years of his NFL career with the New England Patriots after the team drafted him in the second round in 2013. He had a strong rookie season, finishing tied for second on the Patriots with four touchdowns and fourth with 519 receiving yards.
