Trent Williams holdout from San Francisco 49ers training camp does not appear to have an end in sight.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that the offensive lineman "has conviction" on his decision to stay away from camp until he has a new deal and that he is "fairly comfortable" in waiting it out as long as needed:
On Tuesday, Aiyuk watched practice in a golf cart on the sidelines, about 30 yards from where quarterback Brock Purdy threw to his receivers. Williams, meanwhile, continues to hold out, and I'm told he has conviction on this (and that he has taken up golf this offseason, with an ever-improving handicap).
