49ers' Reuben Foster Has Misdemeanor Large-Capacity Ammunition Charge Dropped

The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office announced Monday it plans to dismiss a misdemeanor ammunition charge against San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster.

The district attorney's office said a district court judge has issued an injunction against a law restricting the possession of a large-capacity ammunition magazine. As a result, prosectors will no longer pursue that part of the case against Foster.

Foster still faces felony charges of domestic violence after allegedly attacking his live-in girlfriend.
