NFL Offseason - We have already looked at the top offensive free agents available this offseason. Now it's time now to flip to the other side of the ball and talk about the top defenders available.
This year's crop of defensive free agents is rather oddly distributed. If you're looking for a star at a high-impact position, you're in luck—edge rushers and cornerbacks abound. But if you're looking to fill positions which have traditionally been less valued, at least by analytical approaches, you're in for a spot of bother, as defensive tackles and inside linebackers are rather thin on the ground.
