NFL Appeals Ezekiel Eliott Case:
BREAKING: #NFL appeals Texas court injunction in the Ezekiel Elliott case to the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals
— Daniel Wallach (@WALLACHLEGAL) September 11, 2017
The NFL filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, trying to get the injunction overturned. The way this works is if the NFL appeal is granted than Elliott could face suspension. The chances are slim that it would happen immediately. The NFL and Elliott look to be walking down a similar path from the Tom Brady Deflategate Case. The NFL is hoping for the same result as the Brady case and the Dallas Cowboys are hoping to win a Super Bowl just like the Patriots. In fact, they've asked for an immediate stay in the case.
NFL: “Absent an order from this Court granting a stay, Respondents intend to seek a stay from CA5 tomorrow morning” pic.twitter.com/0Mvn4wKodO
— Daniel Wallach (@WALLACHLEGAL) September 11, 2017
However, in other tweets, Wallach expects that motion to be quickly rejected.

Texans Quarterback Situation
One complicating issue for the #Texans & their QB choice: Source says Deshaun Watson was spotted limping with an ankle injury. Short week.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 11, 2017
The Texans entered Week 1 with Tom Savage as their quarterback and left with Deshaun Watson as their quarterback. Watson looked good at times but showing signs of a rookie. He was able to throw a touchdown pass something that Watson has yet to be able to accomplish. Watson was spotted limping on the sidelines and his health will determine whether or not he will be the starter Week 2
