The NFL offseason is in a lull, as most teams are focused on minicamps and getting their current players ready for the upcoming season. While free agency is largely quiet, there is still plenty buzz around the league. There are a few notable names left on the market, and several teams are working on getting new deals for their current players. Here are the latest and greatest of NFL rumors and news around the league.
Roddy White Will Only Play For A Few Teams
Former Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White wants to play for a contender. He refuses to play for a team that doesn't have a chance to win a Super Bowl, and would rather retire than play for a bad team.
"When my agent and I went down the list and I saw the teams that really needed wide receivers, I was like, 'Wow, I really don’t want to go there,'" White told the Journal-Constitution. "I knew I couldn’t win with any of those teams. At this point of my career, I don’t want to be dragging my feet in Week 13 just to have an opportunity to be 4-10 next week."
White said there are only six teams that he considers true Super Bowl contenders and that he's already turned down offers from teams. If White doesn't get an offer from one of those contending teams by Week 4 or 5, White says he'll retire.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins Issues?
In a surprising move, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter kicked TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins out of practice Thursday. The reason appears to be that Seferian-Jenkins didn't know the play.

Seferian-Jenkins tweeted that he was ready to move on from it already and Koetter said it wasn't that big of a deal. The Bucs are expecting and hoping for a breakout season for their young TE, but this isn't exactly a promising sign.
Saints Lose Former Second Round Pick For Year
The New Orleans Saints won't have defensive end Hau’oli Kikaha for the rest of the season, as the New Orleans Advocate reports Kikaha tore his ACL. After a hot start early last year that feature four sacks and three forced fumbles in his first six games, big things were expected from Kikaha this year.
