The biggest NFL news of free agency finally came when former Patriots QB Tom Brady announced he wasn’t going to play in New England this upcoming season. Instead Brady will be taking his talents to Tampa. With this move it started a domino effect for other top name QBs like Teddy Bridgewater, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Jameis Winston, and Philip Rivers.
NFL news from Day 1 was around was the Houston Texans trading DeAndre Hopkins & a 4th round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for David Johnson & a 2nd round pick. The San Francisco 49ers made a big trade sending DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts for the 13th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Niners also re-signed Arik Armstead to a 5-yr $85 MM deal. The Cleveland Browns signed Austin Hooper, Jack Conklin & Case Keenum, wasting no time getting deals made this NFL off-season.
