The San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders recently released the latest renderings of their proposed $1.8 billion stadium in Carson, California. While we feel for fans in Oakland and San Diego who want to keep their teams where they are, the potential results of a new stadium deal would be simply breathtaking.
One end of the stadium has a giant Lombardi Trophy poking through the concourse.
Take a look from the inside of the stadium and you'll find that the lower level is below ground level and that there's a HUGE video screen circling that end.
The other side of the stadium sports the same wrap-around video board.
Have some money to burn? "Premium fans" will have access to "VIP lanes" with valet parking.
Need a reason to wake up bright and early to tailgate? The outside of the stadium will have seven video screens and 22,500 square feet of video boards tuned into NFL Sunday Ticket's "Red Zone" channel.
Be sure to bring the kids. There will be a youth field out in the complex for kids to play on before gametime.
Remember that Lombardi Trophy we were talking about? The top of it is the centerpiece of a 56,000 square foot bar.
If you're lucky enough (or rich enough) to reserve a luxury suite, you'll have a wall of TVs to check on your fantasy team's players and you'll be able to enjoy the actual game in the open air.
In addition to that, there's a private lounge only accessible to suite patrons.
Just outside will be a full-fledged NFL campus which would include NFL Network's studios.
