There's just one week left in the NFL regular season and teams are either making preparations for the playoffs or for the offseason. As a result, there is plenty of news and rumors are flying around the league. That includes what teams could do with some big name players. Here's all the latest you need to know from round the NFL.
Bills And Tyrod Taylor
The Bills are benching Tyrod Taylor this week, reportedly so he avoid injury and the Bills don't have to worry the injury guarantee in his contract. That's viewed as a sign to many that the Bills are at least thinking about moving on from Taylor this offseason. According to Jason La Canfora, the Bills have already made up their mind.
Bills were aware of Tyrod's groin situation for a few weeks. There's strong sense he will need surgery. Decision to move on made weeks ago

If the Bills do elect to move on from Taylor, they'll need to find a new starting QB, since EJ Manuel has proven he isn't the answer and Cardale Jones isn't ready. As for Taylor, with several teams needing QBs, he should be able to find a team where he can at least fight for a starting job.
Is Peterson Done With Vikings?
Adrian Peterson won't play in Week 17 and that's led to speculation that he's played his final game for the Vikings.

Peterson hardly played this year because of injuries. He's a freak athlete, but will also turn 32 before next season. On top of that, he has a team option next year worth $18 million. That's too pricey for the Vikings and there's a real chance Peterson is playing elsewhere next season.
DeMarcus Ware Will Play In 2017
Ware had surgery to repair a ruptured disc in his back, the latest in many injuries for the edge rusher. He's missed five games in each of the last two year, but announced that he plans on playing next year.

But where Ware plays is unclear. His contract with the Broncos is up and he'll turn 35 before the season. Denver is deep at OLB and might not bring him back. Perhaps a reunion with the Cowboys is in the cards? They could use pass rush help and a mentor for Randy Gregory.
Darren Sproles Retiring After 2017
Darren Sproles will play one more season before calling it a career. Sproles told ESPN he'd retire after next season, in large part because his family (namely his daughters) want to spend more time with him. Sproles has one more year left on his contract with the Philadelphia Eagles and will turn 34 before the start of the season next year.
