Update: 4:55 p.m. ET
Anderson Offer Sheet
The Dolphins, as expected, have signed C.J. Anderson to an offer sheet. It's a four-year, $18 million deal. The Broncos have five days to match the contract.
Chris Long Decision Coming Soon?
Former Rams DE Chris Long has taken a few visits, and could be close to making a decision.
Former Rams DE Chris Long wants to play for a winning team, I'm told he has spoken with Washington, Atlanta, and Dallas. Decision soon.

Of that group, the Redskins had the best record last season, although the Falcons almost made the playoffs and the Cowboys' season was ruined by injuries.
RGIII Wants To Play For Rams?
The Los Angeles Daily News is reporting that Robert Griffin III "very much" wants to play for the Rams. It makes sense as a fit, as the Rams need a QB and Griffin would benefit from having Todd Gurley in the backfield.
Broncos And Colin Kaepernick?
The Broncos are in need of QB help and they've reportedly made Colin Kaepernick their top target.
1) What I just reported on @nflnetwork re Broncos: Colin Kaepernick is their chief target. I believe they will go after him via trade...
— Michael Silver (@MikeSilver) March 10, 2016
Silver also reports that the 49ers want a second round pick, while Denver might be willing to move a third. In addition, Silver reports the Broncos aren't the only team interested in Kaepernick. The Jets and Browns are also involved in a possible trade for Kaepernick. The Browns "are far more serious" in their pursuit of Kaepernick than the Jets.
Adam Schefter said on ESPN today Kaepernick will be traded and it's just a matter of where and when.
Broncos' Other QB Targets
Denver hasn't only focused on Kaepernick. They've also looked a few other QB options.
The four #Broncos QB targets i had heard were Kaep, Fitz, RG3 & Keenum. No on Glennon, Hoyer & Bradford
— Benjamin Allbright (@AllbrightNFL) March 10, 2016
Fitzpatrick and Griffin are both free agent options, while Keenum and Kaepernick would need to come via trade. The Rams hit Keenum with a first round tender, but the Broncos would likely try to work out a deal for less than that.
C.J. Anderson Taking Visits
The Broncos, surprisingly, tendered RB C.J. Anderson with the lowest offer and the team won't get a draft pick back if he leaves. Anderson will take the first of what could be a few visits.
Source says restricted free agent running back CJ Anderson is visiting the Miami Dolphins today.
— Dan Graziano (@DanGrazianoESPN) March 10, 2016
The Dolphins are led by former Broncos coordinator Adam Gase and Adam Schefter thinks Anderson will leave Miami with a signed offer sheet. The Broncos have five days to match any offer. Miami is needed of a RB after losing Lamar Miller.
Raiders Land Sean Smith
The Raiders continued their free agent spending spree by landing former Chiefs CB Sean Smith.
The #Raiders and CB Sean Smith agreed to a 4-year deal worth $40M, source said, with $20M guaranteed
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 10, 2016
That's less than the Giants gave Janoris Jenkins, and it's solid value for the Raiders. A strong offseason got even better for Oakland.
Seahawks Bring Back CB Jeremy Lane
Seattle is keeping CB Jeremy Lane for the next few seasons.
#Seahawks and CB Jeremy Lane have struck a 4-year deal worth $23M with $11M guaranteed, source said.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 10, 2016
Lane played in only six games in 2015 and seven games in 2014. However, he's just 25 years old and picked off two passes after returning from injury.
