Josh Rosen was a three-year starter at UCLA and threw for 9,341 yards, 59 touchdowns and 26 interceptions in his college career. He led UCLA to a 6-7 record and a berth in the Cactus Bowl against Kansas State in 2017. UCLA’s best season with Rosen at QB was an 8-5 record in 2015 that ended with a 37-29 loss to Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl. His 2016 season was cut short due to season-ending shoulder surgery following an injury against Arizona State in UCLA’s 6th game of the year. The Bruins were 3–3 in Rosen's six starts in 2016.
Rosen has pro-style measurables and is listed at 6-foot-4 and 218-pounds. He was a freshman All-American in 2015 and second-team All-Pac-12 in 2017. In high school, Rosen was a USA Today High School All-American.
