Clemson LB Isaiah Simmons is one of the top prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft & he is expected to improve his draft stock at the 2020 NFL Combine. Simmons spent time Thursday morning answering questions at the NFL scouting combine & he spoke about what he learned playing for Dabo Swinney, the advantages of his versatility heading into the NFL & racing Clemson football teammate Travis Etienne in the 40-yd dash. Plus, Simmons compares himself to Chiefs DB Tyrann Mathieu.
One of the most versatile players in the NFL Draft, Simmons played 5 positions in college, having the most production as a LB. However, Simmons is listed as a safety, but is expected to workout with the Linebackers during the NFL combine drills. Simmons had a remarkable season for the Clemson Tigers, totaling 104 TKL, 16.5 TFL, 8 Sacks, 3 INT, 2 FF & 1 FR. Simmons will be an early 1st round pick in this year’s draft, being connected to teams like the New York Giants, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars & the Las Vegas Raiders to name a few.
