Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current CBS analyst, a near-scratch golfer, has competed in several high-profile amateur events in the past, but he is set to make his professional debut at Corales Puntacana this weekend after receiving an exemption from the PGA Tour.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry received a similar exemption from the Web.com Tour last year when he made his pro golf debut at last year's Ellie Mae Classic, but Romo will be playing in a more competitive event.
Oddsmakers at BetDSI Sportsbook have released their odds on how Romo will perform at the event this weekend, including a number of prop bets:

“As a professional athlete, the love and thrill of competition never entirely leaves you,” Romo said of the opportunity. “Outside of my family and football, golf is one of my greatest passions. So, playing and competing in a PGA TOUR event is a dream come true. I am grateful to the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship for giving me an incredible opportunity to test my skills against some of the best on TOUR.”
The Golf Channel will air all four rounds of the event.
