The NFL rumors surrounding New York Giants' star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. continue to grow after the team announced they would be open to trading him and are seeking at least a first-round pick in any deal. Beckham is one of the most polarizing players in the NFL, but OBJ is willing to hold out if he and the Giants are unable to agree on a contract extension. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Monday it is his "understanding" that Beckham "will not set foot on a field" until an extension is in place. Beckham is set to enter the final year of his deal and will make $8.5 million in 2018.

Beckham is 25-years-old and coming off a season where he played in only four games due to fracturing his ankle Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Beckham has played in 47 games and has an incredible stat line of 313 receptions for 4,424 yards, and 38 touchdowns. If the Giants decide to not give OBJ an extension there will be many teams interested in trading for him. Here are five teams that could trade for OBJ in 2018:
The video above (and shown below) is from NFL Daily, a Facebook Live show. All of these videos can be found on NFL Daily on YouTube.
5.) San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers ended the regular season strong winning five games in a row with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as their starting quarterback. The 49ers offense started to click down the stretch of the season, but could always use another offensive weapon. The 49ers will get wide receiver Pierre Garcon back after suffering a neck injury last season and San Francisco did just give wide receiver Marquise Goodwin a three-year extension, but the 49ers have shown interest all offseason in the wide receiver market.
4.) Cleveland Browns
The Browns have been very aggressive this free agency already trading for wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Landry and Beckham played together at LSU and are best friends. Landry reached out to Beckham on Twitter today telling Beckham to come to the Browns. The Browns have the most cap space with $70.6 million and if they throw a lot of money at Beckham he may not be able to say no. The Browns also have the first and fourth overall pick in this year's draft and the Browns may be willing to sacrifice one for OBJ.
3.) Indianapolis Colts
If quarterback Andrew Luck is healthy then the Colts could be appealing to OBJ. The Colts have the second most money in cap space with $61.4 million and will be able to waive a big check in the face of Beckham. The Colts lost wide receiver Donte Moncrief in free agency and besides T.Y. Hilton they don't have another option that puts fear in the eyes of the defense. Beckham and Hilton would be arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL.
2.) New Orleans Saints
Beckham was born in Baton Rouge, LA and attended LSU for three years from 2011-13. Perhaps Beckham would be interested in going home and playing for the team he grew up cheering for. The Saints just re-signed quarterback Drew Brees to a two-year deal and adding Beckham would make this offense a very dangerous one. Beckham winning a Super Bowl with the Saints has to be a selling point New Orleans uses in targeting OBJ. The issue for the Saints is their cap situation as they have only $5.6 million left, which is the third lowest in the NFL.
1.) Los Angeles Rams
The Rams surprised everyone last season and have been busy this offseason signing players. With head coach Sean McVay this Rams team is looking like an NFL powerhouse for years to come and if they added Beckham, Los Angeles could be looking at multiple Super Bowls. The Rams lost wide receiver Sammy Watkins to the Chiefs in free agency and replacing him with OBJ would be terrific for third-year quarterback Jared Goff. The Rams have the sixth-most cap space in the NFL with $35.2 million, so don't be surprised if they offer OBJ something too good to refuse.
