The 2020 NFL Combine is in full swing & one of the top NFL draft prospects in this year’s class is Ohio State DE Chase Young. Young is considered the best defensive prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft & it is deservingly so. He racked up 46 TKL, 21 TFL, 16.5 Sacks & 7 forced fumbles in the 2019 CFB season, which led to Young placing 4th in the Heisman Trophy voting. Chase Young will not work out at the NFL Scouting Combine, but that does not stop him from being a projected top-3 pick in April. He will workout at the Ohio State pro day March 25th, however, he does not plan on running the 40-yd dash.
The team that has been heavily linked to Chase Young at the 2020 Draft is the Washington Redskins. Young gives his thoughts on playing for the Redskins at the Nation’s Capitol & what it would mean to be the #2 overall pick in the NFL Draft. He said he talks to former teammate & Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins all the time. If Young slides past the Skins, the Detroit Lions are next on the clock & could be a likely destination for the 2019 Chuck Bednarik award winner. Where will Chase Young be drafted?
