Following Seattle's 27-17 victory over Washington on Monday Night Football, Seahawk cornerback Richard Sherman had some choice words for Redskin wideout Pierre Garcon, saying the receiver "doesn't matter in this league".
Sherman confirmed postgame that Garcon had pulled on his signature dreadlocks while trying to create separation during the game, and that was the reason for Sherman's outburst.
"When you can't get open, you got to do whatever you can," Sherman told CSN Washington. "The crowd is acting like I'm holding him. Obviously, [on] the TV copy, you can see what happened."
Garcon offered somewhat of a response to Sherman's comments on Twitter:

Someone apparently forgot to tell Garcon exactly what being "silent" means.
