Suspended Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is taking his talents to the showroom floor.
According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Gordon will spend the 2014 season as a "goodwill ambassador" for the Sarchione Auto Group in Randolph, Ohio. Gordon will perform a variety of tasks for Sarchione, including spending time as an on-floor car salesman. In addition to his office duties, Gordon will take charge of the group's community service efforts.
This is a brilliant move by Sarchione, and it looks like a smart play for all the parties involved. Gordon gets a structured environment that will help him as he rehabilitates his life and image, the Browns get to keep him close by, and Sarchione gets an excellent local PR boost.
