A football fan who walked 195 miles from Wolverhampton to Newcastle for charity has spoken of the “surreal” moment he finished the challenge.
Wolves supporter Manny Singh Kang and his son Jeevan arrived in time to watch his team take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday, having left Molineux Stadium four days before.
It was the 51-year-old’s latest fundraising effort and has so far raised about £50,000 for Dementia UK, bringing his total since 2018 for the charity to more than £260,000.
Mr Kang told BBC Radio WM about the moment he arrived in time for kick-off and was greeted by both sets of fans.
