Newcastle are weighing up another formal bid for Watford forward Joao Pedro after their £20million offer was knocked back.
The Championship outfit told Eddie Howe's side their offer of £20m plus £3m in add-ons would not be enough for the Brazilian star.
Watford's official stance is that they don't wish to lose Pedro, 20, and he is not for sale.

The former Fluminense prospect scored three goals last season as the Hornets were relegated, including a strike at St James' Park.
Newcastle rate Pedro, who can play out wide or as a central striker, highly and have been looking to strengthen their forward line after missing out on Hugo Ekitike, who has joined Paris Saint-Germain.
