Montpellier midfielder Ryad Boudebouz is set to snub interest from Newcastle and join La Liga side Real Betis.
The Algeria international caught the eye with his performances in Ligue 1 last term and Montpellier agreed with the player that he could leave for the right price this summer.
A host of clubs have been linked with the creative schemer, including Rafa Benitez's Newcastle, but it is Real Betis who appear to have won the race for his signature.
According to L'Equipe, the Spanish side will pay an initial £6.2m for Boudebouz, followed by a potential £1m in add-ons, while there is also an agreement that Montpellier will receive 20 per cent of any future fee.
