Tottenham defender Danny Rose was under arrest on Wednesday night after being involved in car crash in the early hours of the morning.
Out of favour left-back Rose was arrested for dangerous driving after crashing his car into the central reservation of the A45 in Northampton.
The 30 year-old is believed to have escaped unhurt from the incident though his vehicle was left severely damaged.
One of the wheels came off the car in the incident and Rose’s rear bumper was also left hanging off.
Police attended the scene and Rose had to take a breathalyser test.
