Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has apologised for his performance following the disappointing 4-1 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday.
The Magpies scored three second half goals without reply to send Mauricio Pochettino's side to a crushing defeat, with the Brazilian at fault for Joelinton's 61st-minute strike.
Silva's sloppy pass was cut off by his countryman and he made no mistake in putting the ball past Robert Sanchez to give the home side a 3-1 lead.
After the game, the 39-year-old took to social media to send an emotional message apologising for his and the team's display at St James' Park.
