The Championship is the third most popular league in Europe by attendance, beating out both Serie A and La Liga.
The second-tier of English football drew a total of 7.9million supporters during the 2016/17 season so far, making it the third most popular league in Europe behind the Premier League, (first, 9.2million) and the Bundesliga (8million).
That's 1.3million more than the star-studded Spanish top tier, which boasts record-breaking stars such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
