Sunderland players are braced for a supporter backlash amid fears they could be relegated in front of their own fans on Saturday.

David Moyes’ side - who entertain Bournemouth - will be down if they fail to match Hull’s result at Southampton. They are 12 points from safety and have not won at home since before Christmas.

And defender John O’Shea says they have to expect terrace unrest.
