Steve Bruce is trying to bring in another coach as he attempts to reverse Newcastle United's slump in results.
Sportsmail understands Bournemouth's Graeme Jones is in talks over joining Bruce's backroom team.
The Magpies already have Steve Agnew, Stephen Clemence, Steve Harper and Ben Dawson on the staff, but Bruce feels fresh input is needed after a run of nine matches without a win.

Jones, who was born in Gateshead, has previously worked as Roberto Martinez's assistant, most recently with the Belgium national side.
