Newcastle head coach Steve Bruce has confirmed United States international defender DeAndre Yedlin is close to completing a deadline day move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Yedlin joined the Magpies in a £5million deal from Tottenham in 2016 and has gone on to make 125 appearances for the North East club.
Celtic were also linked with the American but it appears that Galatasaray have won the race to sign the right back.
Bruce said: 'Quite simply we've had three right-backs at the club now and I think DeAndre is suited to playing as a wing-back.
