Southampton and Newcastle played out an entertaining 2-2 draw on Sunday afternoon, with Manolo Gabbiadini scoring twice to ensure the Saints came away with a point.

Isaac Hayden put the visitors ahead in the 20th minute thanks to a powerful right-footed strike from just outside the Southampton penalty area.

Italian striker Gabbiadini then equalised for Southampton on 50 minutes thanks to a brilliant solo effort. However, just 86 seconds later, Newcastle went up the other end and went ahead once again as Ayoze Perez netted past Fraser Forster.

But there was another twist to come. Gabbiadini equalised yet again from the penalty spot after Shane Long was brought down by Florian Lejeune with 15 minutes remaining.
