Sone Aluko has joined Reading from Sky Bet Championship rivals Fulham on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Reports suggest Aluko has become the Royals' club-record signing, with the 28-year-old costing around £7.5million.
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic urged the club not to sell the forward when Reading's interest first became known earlier this summer, but a deal has now been struck for a player who scored nine goals for the Cottagers last season. It is understood Fulham will now pursue a move for Newcastle's Dwight Gayle.
