Newcastle United's revolution under Rafa Benitez is entering a 'crucial' period and can be likened to Sir Bobby Robson's first season at the club in 17 years ago, claims former star Nobby Solano.
Having sealed the Championship title and conducted successful talks with owner Mike Ashley, Benitez looks set to lead the Magpies back into the Premier League with the aim of reestablishing the club as a top flight mainstay.
And Solano, who made over 200 appearances for Newcastle over two separate spells, said Benitez's task is similar to the one undertaken by the late, great Robson in the 1999/00 season.
