At least 10 Premier League clubs could reportedly block Newcastle's proposed £300m Saudi Arabian takeover.
Unrest is believed to be growing and they could group together to demand the Premier League block the sale on the basis of commercial concerns, according to The Sun.
Fresh legal documents have been submitted to the League which it is claimed provide evidence of a link between the Saudi state and illegal streaming of sports in the country. There are numerous legal cases currently ongoing in relation to this matter.
If the documents prove a link between the Saudi government and pirate streaming platform BeoutQ it could cause them to fail the fit and proper owner test.
