Newcastle's match at Paris St-Germain will be the "defining moment" of the Magpies' Champions League campaign, according to manager Eddie Howe.
His side must avoid defeat in the French capital on Tuesday to have any chance of reaching the last 16.
After consecutive losses to Borussia Dortmund the Premier League club are bottom of Group F in their first Champions League campaign for 20 years.
"We will need every ounce of energy to get a result," said Howe.
"This is a defining moment in our Champions League campaign, we are going to give it everything.
